Educated at Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School, Horncastle and Sleaford Joint Sixth Form, Alison joined Saul Fairholm in 2005 as a trainee accountant. Alison qualified with ACCA in 2010, becoming a fellow member in 2015.  Following periods as an accounts manager and a senior manager, Alison was appointed as a Director in September 2024. She works closely with small and medium sized owner managed businesses in areas including VAT, taxation and accounts. 

Alison is married to Richard and together with their daughter they enjoy holidays around the United Kingdom, with walking in the Yorkshire Dales being a particular favourite.  She also enjoys reading and regularly attends cardio tennis sessions.
